Amir Khan: Floyd Mayweather fight is 'very close'
Amir Khan tells BBC Sport that a fight with American Floyd Mayweather is "very close".
The 28-year-old, who is aiming to end triple-welterweight world champion Mayweather's 48-fight unbeaten run, but adds he has "no interest" in facing Kell Brook at the moment.
Khan claimed a unanimous points victory over American Chris Algieri in their welterweight bout in New York on Friday, scoring 117-111, 117-111 and 115-113 on the three judges' scorecards to claim a fifth consecutive win.
