Carl Froch: Boxer's retirement decision 'in past 24 hours'

Four-time world champion Carl Froch says he only made the definite decision to retire within the past 24 hours after speaking to his team.

The 38-year-old won 33 of his 35 fights, but Froch has not fought since he knocked out George Groves, external to retain the WBA and IBF titles in May 2014.

Froch is delighted with the reaction he has had since announcing his retirement and says he is proud of his career and has no regrets.
