Carl Frampton: Scott Quigg fight is chance to 'put record straight'

Belfast's IBF super-bantamweight Carl Frampton wants to "put the record straight" by proving that he is a better boxer than Scott Quigg when the fighters meet.

Frampton will face Quigg in a world title unification fight in Manchester on 27 February, having survived two knockdowns in the first round to overcome Mexican Alejandro Gonzalez in Texas last July.

"I learnt from that fight never to take an opponent for granted as I wrongly went into the ring with the opinion that 'I'm going to blow this guy away'," said the Northern Irishman.
