Barry McGuigan: Nick Blackwell injury an 'isolated incident'
Boxing promoter and former world champion Barry McGuigan tells BBC Points West "nobody is to blame" for the injury suffered by Nick Blackwell in last Saturday's fight against Chris Eubank Jr.
Blackwell is in an induced coma in hospital after a small bleed on his brain was found.
McGuigan believes the incident was an isolated one and praised the British Boxing Board of Control as "one of the most medically proficient organisations in the world".
The former featherweight was speaking after announcing that Bristol boxer Lee Haskins' first defence of his world title will be against Mexico's Ivan Morales on 14 May at Cardiff's new Ice Arena Wales.
