Jasmine Hacker-Jones spoke of her pride at securing a medal for Wales after winning Commonwealth Games bronze in the women's 63kg judo category.
Hacker-Jones, 22, beat Audrey Jeannette Etoua Biock of Cameroon to secure a podium place.
“To actually fight under the Welsh flag means so much,” she said.
