Andrew Strauss seeks England consistency against Pakistan

Captain Andrew Strauss says England will not be regarded all around the world as the number one Test side until they win a tour on the sub-continent.

England will play a three-Test series against Pakistan in Dubai and Abu Dhabi later this month before travelling to take on Sri Lanka in March.

Strauss adds that his players are "refreshed" after a break and that the upcoming series is a chance for the sport to move on from the recent spot-fixing trial.
