Jonathan Trott backs under-fire captain Andrew Strauss
England batsman Jonathan Trott backs under-fire captain Andrew Strauss by claiming he can't see anyone else leading the Test side for at least "a couple of years".
Strauss has been under pressure after England collapsed to a 75-run defeat in the first Test against Sri Lanka in Galle - despite Trott's 112. It was the fourth straight loss this winter for the world's top Test side, causing some to question the future of Strauss.
Speaking to BBC Sport's Kevin Howells, Trott believes Strauss is a "fantastic leader" and that "everyone is 100% behind him".
Trott also feels the number one ranking is not the "be all and end all", with England likely to be replaced at number one by South Africa if they fail to win Tuesday's second Test.
