Ashes 2013: Surprises in Australia 16-man squad

The Australian Cricket Board have announced a 16-man squad to contest this summer's Ashes that contains Chris Rogers, the 35-year-old Middlesex captain who won his only cap five years ago.

Rogers admits to BBC Sport that the Australia side are not "anywhere near as good" as they used to be, but believes they are still a "very good side, with very talent players".

The five-Test Ashes series begins at Trent Bridge on 10 July, before the sides contest the return series starting in Brisbane on 21 November.
