David Warner: Alastair Cook 'disappointed' over 'attack' claims

England captain Alastair Cook says he is "clearly disappointed" over claims of an unprovoked attack on Joe Root by Australia cricketer David Warner.

Cricket Australia said Warner was involved in an alleged physical altercation in a bar hours after Saturday's loss to England at Edgbaston, and are investigating the incident.

Cook insists Root is "fine" and "wants to put it behind him" in time for England's next Champions Trophy match against Sri Lanka on Thursday.
