James Anderson says England are "hungry" to salvage pride from the Ashes tour, after impressing on day two of the fourth Test.

The tourists produced their best bowling display of the series to reduce Australia to 164-9, still 91 runs behind, on a dramatic second day at the MCG.

England suffered heavy defeats in the first three Tests to surrender the Ashes urn inside 14 days.
