Ashes 2013-14: Kevin Pietersen must not be scapegoat - Vaughan

Former England batsman Michael Vaughan says he fears England will make Kevin Pietersen "a scapegoat" for their Ashes defeat by Australia.

Coach Andy Flower said England's 5-0 defeat down under marked the "end of an era" and represented the chance for "some sort of renewal".

Vaughan wants Pietersen, 33, to be made vice-captain and to be consulted on how England should move forward, but thinks he may be jettisoned from the squad because he is difficult to manage.
