Steven Finn: England pace bowler looking forward to UK return

Fast-bowler Steven Finn says it is for the "best" that he returns home, as he prepares to leave England's tour of Australia.

England one-day coach Ashley Giles confirmed on Wednesday the 24-year-old would be returning home early to "work on technical aspects of his game".

In an interview with the England and Wales Cricket Board's website, Finn said "at times, it's felt like I've been banging my head against a brick wall, trying to make it right".

Finn was overlooked for selection during the 5-0 Ashes whitewash and the start of the one-day series.
