Women's Ashes 2014: Charlotte Edwards hails 'extra special' win
England captain Charlotte Edwards says winning the Women's Ashes in Australia is "extra special" after her side clinched the multi-format series.
The skipper hit 92 not out as England comfortably passed Australia's total of 150 to win the first T20 international in Hobart by nine wickets and take an unassailable 10-4 lead in the series.
Edwards said playing two back-to-back Ashes series had been tough and that players had to be at the top of their game "every single ball".
