Phillip Hughes death: The Analyst on safety in cricket

BBC Sport cricket analyst Simon Hughes believes that safety in modern cricket is "very good" despite the death of Australian cricketer Phillip Hughes.

Australia Test batsman Hughes, 25, died after being struck on the top of the neck by a short-pitched ball during a domestic match in Sydney.

'The Analyst', a former Middlesex bowler, says it is "a terrible feeling" to hurt an opponent and believes that Sean Abbott, who bowled the fatal delivery, will need "a lot of support" to come to terms with what has happened.
