Pakistan v England: Alastair Cook hopes for 'big' first-innings runs

Captain Alastair Cook says "someone needs to go big" with the bat in England's first innings in the second Test against Pakistan in Dubai starting on Thursday.

All-rounder Ben Stokes is a doubt with a stomach virus, after the 24-year-old hit a fifty and took four wickets in the drawn first Test of the three-match series.

Cook said England would be "careful" with Stokes, adding that he "wasn't well at all" on Tuesday.
