London 2012: Dave Roberts faces battle to make Paralympics
Dave Roberts, external, Great Britain's joint-most successful Paralympian of the modern era with 11 gold medals, is facing a fight to make miss out on London 2012 after failing to attain the Paralympic qualification time at the final swimming trials in Sheffield.
The 31-year-old last competed at a major international event in 2010 after battling illness and injury over the past two years.
Roberts admitted to BBC Sport's Chris Mitchell that he still feels that, if selected, he is capable of winning Paralympic gold this summer.
