Gold medal blades 'within limits'

A sports technology expert has said that the blades used by the T44 Paralympic men's 200m champion Alan Oliveira were within the limits imposed by the International Paralympics Committee.

The Brazilian sprinter beat South Africa's Oscar Pistorius, who took the silver medal in the event that many had expected him to win.

The World At One's Shaunn Ley asked Ross Tucker, who specialises in exercise science and sports medicine in the Department of Human Biology at the University of Cape Town, if Olivera's blades gave him an unfair advantage.
