NI paralympic stars are lauded

Northern Ireland's Paralympic heroes Jason Smyth, Michael McKillop, Bethany Firth and James Brown return home.

Eglinton sprinter Smyth retained his T13 100m and 200m titles, improving his own world records in both events while Glengormley man McKillop held on to his T37 800m title before clinching the 1500m gold two days later.

Seaforde swimmer Firth had started the Northern Ireland gold rush as she won the S14 100m backstroke event while Portaferry native Brown took bronze in the cycling tandem road time trial.
