International Paralympic Committee spokesperson Craig Spence says the IPC "wouldn't stand in his way" if Oscar Pistorius wanted to compete at the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

South African athlete Pistorius has been found guilty of culpable homicide after the judge found he killed his girlfriend by mistake.

Spence says that as long as Pistorius had served his sentence the IPC "would not stand in his way".
