Charlotte Evans devastated by IPC World Championships absence
Charlotte Evans, the guide of visually impaired Paralympic skiing champion Kelly Gallagher, tells BBC South East Today that missing the IPC Alpine Skiing World Championships because of concussion "really hurts".
Evans, from Chatham in Kent, suffered a serious head injury last month after colliding with Gallagher in training.
The duo won Britain's first-ever Winter Paralympic gold medal in Sochi last year.
Evans says the aftermath of her concussion injury was "really scary" and has called for skiing to introduce protocols for head injuries.
The IPC Alpine Skiing World Championships take place from 28 February to 10 March in Panorama, Canada.
