Mel Nicholls: 1500m world record holder opts for London Marathon
Gloucestershire Paralympian Mel Nicholls speaks to BBC Radio Gloucestershire about her decision to take part in this year's London Marathon.
Typically racing as a middle-distance athlete or a sprinter, Nicholls broke her own 1500m T34 world record in 2014.
After competing in the 100m and 200m events at London 2012, she won a bronze in the 100m and silver in the 800m at the 2014 European Championships.
