British pair Tom Daley and Pete Waterfield miss medals

Tom Daley and Pete Waterfield come sixth in the men's 10m synchro at the 14th Fina World Championships in Shanghai, China.

The British pair had been hampered in the build-up to the event with Waterfield suffering flu-like symptoms and only decided to compete at the last minute.

The Chinese pair of Huo Liang and new partner Qui Bo took gold in the event with German and Ukrainian pairs second and third respectively.
