Pippa Funnell on Badminton Horse Trials and writing

Three-time Badminton Horse Trials winner Pippa Funnell says it has been "good fun and hard work" juggling her equestrian career with her new-found job as an author of children's books.

Funnell - who remains the only person in history to achieve the Grand Slam of Eventing, external by winning at Badminton, Burghley and Kentucky horse trials in the same year - has penned the Tilly's Pony Tails series, aimed at horse mad youngsters.

She also tells BBC Sport's Lizzie Greenwood-Hughes it would be a "privilege" if her Grand Slam feat was matched by either William Fox-Pitt or Andrew Nicholson this year.
