Northern Ireland captain Aaron Hughes will retire from international football after the Euro 2012 qualifying campaign ends in November.

The Cookstown-born Fulham defender has been capped 79 times by his country.

He revealed his decision in an interview with Joel Taggart on Radio Ulster's Sportsound.
