Johan Djourou 'cannot see Arsenal without Arsene Wenger'
Arsenal's Johan Djourou, speaking at Arsenal's Save the Children charity event, says he cannot envisage the Gunners "without Arsene Wenger" at the helm and believes the club need the Frenchman "to progress".
The Switzerland international also says Arsenal's 1-0 victory over Swansea in September, external was a turning point for the club following their stuttering start to the season.
On the issue of racism, Djourou says it "is something that's always been here" and "is always something that's going to be around", adding that it would be a good idea for players to get together and form an organisation to help stamp it out.
Arsenal have announced that they are dedicating Saturday's Premier League match against Fulham to Save the Children, external, with players donating a day's wages to the global charity.
