Neil Warnock says referee was 'conned' into Joey Barton red card

QPR boss Neil Warnock says his team feel like they have been "mugged" after referee Neil Swarbrick was "conned" into sending Joey Barton off during their 2-1 defeat by Norwich, external.

Warnock feels Barton made no contact with Bradley Johnson and says the Norwich midfielder's "acting" helped convince the officials to dismiss the R's captain.

Despite the defeat Warnock remains positive, praising the performance of his side during the second half and says they must "stop feeling sorry for themselves" and get on with it if they are to halt their recent run of bad form.
