David Moyes says freak goal couldn't hide Everton's flaws

Everton manager David Moyes is unimpressed with his team's performance in the "deserved" 2-1 defeat by Bolton at Goodison Park, external.

Goalkeeper Tim Howard had put the home side ahead with a long clearance which sailed over Bolton counterpart Adam Bogdan in a strong wind.

But Moyes says his side were only "hoping" to hold on to that and he has "no qualms" with either the referee or the result.
