QPR players happy with appointment of Mark Hughes

QPR striker Tommy Smith says it came as a shock to the players that Neil Warnock was sacked, external but they are all happy that the club have moved swiftly to appoint Mark Hughes as their new manager, external.

Smith says the appointment of Hughes is very positive for QPR as he has played at the highest level and comes with lots of managerial experience and feels it will be a boost for the club as they look to retain their Premier League status.
