Andre Villas-Boas backs move to forgo handshakes
Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas says the move to cancel the usual pre-match handshakes before his team's FA Cup tie at QPR was a "wise" move, in view of the racism allegations made by Anton Ferdinand towards John Terry.
The FA took the move in consultation with the clubs "to defuse further tensions" at Loftus Road.
Villas-Boas says Terry gave an "excellent performance" during his team's 1-0 win, external.
