Fast start made game easy for Spurs - Emmanuel Adebayor

Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor says his side made the game "easy for ourselves" with two goals in the opening six minutes of an eventual 5-0 thrashing of Newcastle.

Adebayor set up those two early goals for Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Louis Saha and played a part in Saha's second as well as the fourth for Niko Kranjcar, before adding the fifth himself in the second half.

Adebayor says while it is nice to score after a bit of a goal-scoring drought, his job "is not to score goals, it is to help my team to win games".
