Mick McCarthy sacking at Wolves not easy - Jez Moxey

Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey tells BBC Midlands Today the decision to sack Mick McCarthy was "not easy" and was made with a "heavy heart".

McCarthy, who joined the club in July 2006, was dismissed following Wolves' recent poor run of just one win in 13 matches, including a 5-1 home defeat by West Brom on Sunday.

Moxey believes Wolves can "turn their fortunes around" and find a replacement in time for their next fixture against Newcastle on 25 February.
