Kenny Dalglish and David Moyes keen for Merseyside derby triumph

Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish and Everton boss David Moyes are hoping for a vital win in Tuesday's Merseyside derby at Anfield.

The Reds won the previous encounter 2-0 at Goodison Park earlier this season - but Liverpool failed to build on that early momentum.

After three Premier League defeats in a row the Reds find themselves in seventh, only two points ahead of their neighbours.

Dalgish calls for his side to start putting "more points on the board" if they are to challenge for a European place, while Moyes feels the Toffees can build on their recent run of good form - which has included wins against Man City, Chelsea and Tottenham.
