Victory over Norwich was essential - Alan Pardew

Newcastle manager Alan Pardew says "the squad came through" to beat Norwich 1-0, while admitting players are "not firing on all cylinders".

Pardew says injuries have taken their toll on the squad, and believes victory was imperative as they try to achieve their aim of qualifying for Europe.
