Fabrice Muamba saw Bolton win on Match of the day - Owen Coyle

Bolton boss Owen Coyle says Fabrice Muamba continues to show signs of improvement following his cardiac arrest last week, and was even able to watch highlights of his side's 2-1 win over Blackburn on Match of the Day.

Coyle jokes that he thinks the 23-year-old fell asleep during the programme with the scoreline at 2-0, but adds Muamba is thankful for the support fans have shown him.

Muamba remains in intensive care at The London Chest Hospital where his condition is serious but stable.
