Roy Hodgson discusses England job on Friday

Roy Hodgson tells BBC Sport's Pat Murphy on Friday "I don't know any more about what the FA's plans are than anybody else" and says he will be as interested as any other football fan to find out who the next England manager might be.

On Sunday it emerged that The FA had approached West Brom with a view to talking to Hodgson about the vacancy.

Talks with the Football Association are due to begin on Monday and it is expected that the 64-year old will be appointed England manager within days.
