Patrick Vieira proud of Arsenal's 'Invincibles' after award

Former Arsenal captain Patrick Vieira is "really proud" after his old team were named the greatest in Premier League history after going for the entire 2003/04 season unbeaten, leading to their nickname 'The Invincibles'.

The former France international midfielder states it feels "amazing" to be voted ahead of so many other "great teams", but believes their record of 49 games without defeat will one day be beaten.

The Gunners' final record in the 2003/04 season was: won 26, drew 12, with 73 goals scored and only 26 conceded, winning the title by 11 points with Thierry Henry the League's leading scorer with 30 goals.
