Euro 2012: Roy Hodgson bemoans 'keeper John Ruddy's luck

England manager Roy Hodgson says goalkeeper John Ruddy withdrawing from England's Euro 2012 squad is "unlucky" for the team.

The Norwich shot-stopper broke his finger in training, and will be replaced by Birmingham City's Jack Butland.

Hodgson says they couldn't risk taking Ruddy, but thinks it will be good experience for Butland, who is cutting short his holiday in Mexico to join up with the squad.
