Euro 2012: England v France classic matches

Ahead of Monday's Euro 2012 game, BBC Sport looks back at previous England v France meetings at major tournaments, from their World Cup clash in 1966 to the dramatic Euro 2004 tie.

Two goals from Roger Hunt gave England a 2-0 win in 1966 and Bryan Robson's 27-second goal put England on their way to a 3-1 win in the 1982 World Cup.

The two sides played out a 0-0 draw at the 1992 European Championship before Zinedine Zidane's two late goals gave France a 2-1 win at Euro 2004.
