An impressive Germany beat the Netherlands 2-1 with in-form Mario Gomez netting two goals in the first half.

Robin van Persie scored a brilliant consolation goal for the Dutch, but the Netherlands now need to beat Denmark in their final group game and rely on other results to stand any chance of making the knockout stages of Euro 2012.
