BBC Sport looks at the story behind Harry Redknapp's surprise departure as Tottenham manager after four years in charge.

Redknapp had guided Spurs to three top-five finishes in the Premier League but, despite having a year left on his contract, he reportedly failed to agree a new deal with chairman Daniel Levy.

He joined Tottenham in October 2008 when they were four points adrift at the bottom of the Premier League and guided them to a first-ever Champions League campaign in 2010.
