My behaviour was ridiculous - Newcastle boss Alan Pardew
Newcastle manager Alan Pardew describes his behaviour as "ridiculous" after he was sent to the stands for shoving a linesman during his side's 2-1 win over Tottenham on the opening day of the season.
Demba Ba and a late Hatem Ben Arfa penalty gave the Magpies the three points, but Pardew was dismissed for pushing linesman Peter Kirkup after a dispute.
Despite the incident Pardew says he has apologised to Kirkup afterwards, and is also thrilled at Newcastle's "marvellous win".
