England deserved equaliser against Ukraine - Roy Hodgson

England manager Roy Hodgson believes his side deserved the late equaliser against Ukraine after the teams drew 1-1 in the World Cup qualifier at Wembley.

The home side went behind after Yevgeni Konoplianka's strike gave Ukraine the lead - but a late Frank Lampard penalty rescued a point for England.

Hodgson says he was "very disappointed" with the number of yellow cards his side received, one of which resulted in captain Steven Gerrard being sent off for a second bookable offence.
