Mark Lawrenson calls for FA fast-track system
BBC Sport football expert Mark Lawrenson believes the FA have not been shown in a good light in the way they have dealt with the John Terry saga, and says they must deal with high-profile cases in as swift a timescale as possible.
The FA released their written judgement on Friday explaining why Terry was banned for four games and fined £220,000, saying Terry "is not a racist" but were "satisfied" his comments were used as an insult.
The former Liverpool defender also feels that the "Respect" campaign needs to be revisited and says that managers need to clamp down on players tweeting about controversial matters relating to the game.
