Liverpool striker shortage not ideal - Brendan Rodgers
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers admits his current striker crisis is "not ideal", as the club have only one recognised striker who is fit to play.
Reds forward Fabio Borini is expected to be out for up to three months after breaking his foot, and with Andy Carroll on loan at West Ham it leaves Luis Suarez as the manager's only recognised option up front.
Speaking ahead of Saturday's match against Reading, Rodgers also says he has not considered recalling Carroll - but confirms the club "are watching" the England striker to monitor his performances.
