Avram Grant reports unfounded, says Chelsea boss Rafael Benitez

Rafael Benitez says he "hasn't heard anything" about former Blues boss Avram Grant being brought in to assist him at Chelsea. The Blues' interim boss has overseen two draws and a defeat so far, but even a win might not be good enough for his side in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Chelsea have to beat Danish side Nordsjaelland and hope Shakhtar Donetsk beat Juventus in the other Group E match. Any other result and the Blues will become the first holders to be knocked out of the Champions League at this stage.

The Spaniard says the players have been "performing well in training" and just need to "rediscover the confidence" and the results will follow.
