Everton 1-2 Chelsea: David Moyes credits beaten Blues

Manager David Moyes says Everton "gave everything" in their 2-1 Premier League defeat by Chelsea at Goodison Park, their first home league defeat of the season.

Winger Steven Pienaar put the Toffees ahead inside two minutes but a Frank Lampard brace secured the point against a squad as "low as we have been all season" due to injuries.

Defeat leaves Everton in sixth place in the Premier League, three spots below Chelsea.
