Wigan 0-4 Man Utd: Roberto Martinez on lethargic display

Wigan boss Roberto Martinez admits his side were tired and lacked sharpness after they fell to a 4-0 defeat by Manchester United at the DW Stadium.

Martinez feels it has been too much for his squad to play four games in the space of 10 or 11 days during the festive period.

United were able to make numerous changes to their starting line-up, whereas Wigan could not and this was the key to game according to the Spaniard.
