Liverpool 3-0 Sunderland: Rodgers pleased by team performance

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers says the team "performed wonderfully well" in their 3-0 win over Sunderland at Anfield.

After Raheem Sterling opened the scoring, Luis Suarez netted twice to seal the victory, and Rodgers praised his striker's attitude, saying Suarez has been "fantastic" and continues to be a "pleasure to work with".

Rodgers also welcomes the arrival of new signing Daniel Sturridge from Chelsea, saying the 23-year-old striker will be "hungry to do well".
