Aston Villa's Paul Lambert critical of defence after Bradford defeat

Manager Paul Lambert criticises Aston Villa's defending after their 3-1 defeat by League Two side Bradford in the semi-final first leg of the League Cup.

Nahki Wells and Rory McArdle were on target for the home side, but Andreas Weimann gave Villa a lifeline before Carl McHugh's powerful header gave Bradford a two-goal cushion going into the second leg on Tuesday, 22 January.

Lambert promises that the reverse tie at Villa Park "will be a different game" and urges his players to re-group and come back stronger.
