Alan Pardew questions 'strange' Loic Remy move to QPR
Newcastle manager Alan Pardew says Loic Remy's decision to sign for QPR instead of his club is "strange".
The Magpies had agreed a deal with Marseille for the French striker - but Remy decided to sign a four-and-a-half-year deal with the Premier League's bottom side instead.
Pardew believes Newcastle offered the forward "a fantastic offer", but is now concentrating on signing another player during the transfer window to help the club out of their "precarious position".
